solves a great problem but there is a grain of discovery in the solution of any
problem. [George

Cabri Files - A set of interactive dynamic geometry activities for secondary schools. (These files are zipped. To open you need WinZip and Cabri Geometry II.
Cabri Worksheets - A set of worksheets which describe how geometric figures may be constructed by the students themselves and then used to discover geometrical relationships and results.
Another set of Cabri Files - submitted by Mr Winston Micallef (Mathematics Head of Department at St Lucia Girls' Junior Lyceum)

Problem Solving Using Technology
The use of paper and pencil methods to solve problems is commonplace. How about trying to use technology as an alternative approach to problem solving?

Mathematical Structure Using Derive
Derive may be used to introduce Secondary School students to the mathematical structure underpinning arithmetic and algebraic operations. The students AUTHOR the expressions on the left and then use SIMPLIFY BASIC and EXPAND as necessary to get the result shown on the right. They observe and discuss the results with the teacher.
